Members of the Tennessee Art League gathered on a cool evening in Leiper’s Fork at the home of Ted Kromer, former TAL president, and his wife, Karen Duffy, for their annual fundraiser. Located in a barn on the property, it was a casual evening enjoyed under low-lit chandeliers, with a tasteful display of food, wine, art and live and silent auctions. On the barn walls, TAL members exhibited their art depicting the local countryside. Proceeds from the event will go toward the TAL in support of their community programs.
The night was capped off with music and dancing lead by the country vocals of Kevin Harris. Guests were joined by honorary chair Paul Harmon and his wife, Karen Roark.
The Tennessee Art League was organized in 1954 as a nonprofit organization in the state of Tennessee. The primary mission of the TAL is to assist local visual artists by providing gallery space, workshops, and educational programs. In addition, the League endeavors to enrich the community by providing professional artist materials to schools and teaching art in community centers, senior centers and homeless shelters.
